I have dreamed about visiting Puerto Rico for New Years for a very long time. Finally this year I made it a reality. I am a planner and have been planning this trip since August 2016. I am flying to Puerto Rico on December 21st and will stay until January 2nd. I will celebrate my birthday on December 25th by renting a boat ride to Culebra and snorkeling with turtles the whole day. However, since I will not be there alone, I have spent countless hours on narrowing down options for New Years in Puerto Rico 2017. I have read every blog, TripAdvisor posts, Gustazos, prticket, you name it, I’ve done it. Finally the winner was selected.

For New Years in Puerto Rico 2017, I will be PALMERAS RESTAURANT @ Caribe Hilton for New Years Eve Dinner that will start from 6 pm and will last until 10:30 pm. Here is the menu for the dinner that looks mouthwatering:

I believe this is a great deal because I am getting a full dinner at the most beautiful place by the water, but the best part is that it includes a glass of Moet Chandon and admission to Caribar party. After spending countless hours on research, all I could find was party places with DJs and an open bar with a price around $150, but none of these locations offered a meal.

Pina Colada was invented in 1954 by a bartender that worked at Caribe Hilton. My goal is only to drink Pina Coladas that night since it is such a history. However, Moet Champagne at midnight for New Years in Puerto Rico 2017 will be a nice touch too.



Caribar NYE 2017 event alone costs $75, but you will have complimentary tickets from the dinner that you will need to pick up when you walk in. It will start at 8:00 PM and will last until 3:00 AM. The local well known band Sin Prisa Live Tropical Band and DJ Ivan Robles will be entertaining us that night. I have searched around and found Sin Prisa Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/sinprisamusic/ looks like they are a must band for wedding parties and last year they performed at the Sheraton for NYE. I will recommend dressing to impress, seems like men come in the suites and ladies wear beautiful dresses. I will go all out since it is New Years in Puerto Rico 2017.

Know that fireworks will be displayed on the water outside of Caribar, you will be in the perfect location to witness the fireworks show.
